James Gwee Inspires More Than 300 Leaders of Asuransi Jiwa Avrist

On Wednesday 25 November 2009, James Gwee was invited to speak in a seminar for more than 300 Leaders of Asuransi Jiwa Avrist. Avrist was formerly the life insurance company AIA. Many of the leaders were from AIA, therefore they are very familiar with James cos James had, through the years, conduct so very many seminars for AIA agents and leaders. It felt like meeting old friends !
Therefore the atmosphere throughout the seminar was casual and light-hearted. However, James delivered many powerful lessons for the leaders to lead and boost their team’s performance.
The National Leaders Conference was attended by Avrist leaders from all over Indonesia. Avrist Chief Agency Officer Pak Rusli Chan opened the seminar by announcing his vision and goals for Avrist and the challenges and exciting opportunities ahead. His short but powerful opening address was interrupted several times by the very many happy, enthusiatic and optimistically confident leaders. A very good sign for the company.

230 Management and Staff of Datacomm from all over Indoneisa learnt critical lessons to succeed in career and business in the 21st century on 26 November 2009 at Hotel Novotel Mangga Dua..
The seminar entitled “How To Become A Positive, Pro-Active and Enthusiastic Employee” started with everybody watching the video version of “Who Moved My Cheese”. After watching the video, James when up on stage to get participants to experience the challenges of making a “Change”. The seminar moved from inspirational content to insights, to group discussions, then games and activities… Everyone who was present participated actively in the discussions and games… The seminar, that was scheduled to end at 5pm ended at nearly pm.

Saturday 21 November 2009 Istora Senayan. More that 3000 Lion Networkers had agthered for their GIANT celebration.
The atmosphere was SUPER-CHARGED. We met the netwrok leaders - all very successful people.
After lunch, the event resumed with the Awards Ceremony. Then James Gwee was called to stage with tremendous cheers, applause and standing ovation.
He inspired the 3000 over people with SUCCESS SECRETS OF THE WORLD’S GREATEST SALES PEOPLE. They applauded, they took down notws, the learned, the made commitments to improve in many ways… James spoke, he shouted, he sang, he inspired the 3000 strong cheering crowd for more than 2 hours.
He brought his session to it peak, then he closed his session in the middle of cheering, clappiing and standing ovation.

Saturday 14 Nov 2009 will be a special day for both the management, managers and staff of PT Garuda Metalindo, as well as James Gwee and his team of Associate Trainers.
Saturday 14 Nov 2009 signifies the end of a series of training that James Gwee and Associate Trainers had conducted for PT Garuda Metalindo’s managers, heads of departments, general managers, supervisors and staff…
The training concluded in a sound of HARMONY as the more than 100 participants eveyone, comprising managers, heads of departments, general managers, supervisors and staff PT Garuda Metalindo gathered togther at their very cozy Function Room for their final training session together… In the morning, they learnt on final lesson about Corporate Culture conduct by James Gwee’s Associate Trainer - Hendrik. After Hendrik’s session, Pak Erwin Wijaya, CEO of PT Garuda Metalindo explained and emphasized once agin the corporate credo and more importantly, explained the reason and “SOUL” behind each and every point in the corporate credo. After lunch James Gwee gave examples with video showing how to create an organisation where people work to high energy, passion and fun…
Then the surprise… Each and everyone was given an angklung, and some traditional musical instruments were brought on stage, James introduced Pak Yayang, the famous angklung teacher… And Pak Yayang brought each and every member of the PT Garuda Metalindo’s staff who were present on a journey of music… There were smiles of on everybody’s faces and spontaneous applause each time they finished playing a song… From Indonesian songs to “You Raise Me Up”… 1 hour went by so quickly…

James Gwee Motivates 200 Sales People of Gramedia Pustaka Utama

Finally, the day had arrived. both James & Gremedia Pustaka Utama (GPU) had been waiting for this seminar for almost one year. Unfortinately, schedules seldom coincide. Finally the date was fixed - 2/11/09.
The seminar started punctually at 9am. 200+ young and enthusiastic sales people had turned up for the seminar. Even the top management of GPU and other publishing companies within the Gramedia-Kompas group attended, bring their sales team along.
The session started punctually at 9am by GPU’s Marketing Manager Pak Vincent Tuwadi. The opening address was by Pak Wandi S. Brata, Direktur Gramedia Pustaka Utama. He shared a very strong and relevant idea “You don’t get what you WANT; you get what you ARE”. It was a very powerful opening.
Then James’ session started. The event was scheduled to end at 11am. But the audience was so POSITIVE and eager to learn that James added an extra 40minutes !
What a FANTASTIC session ! So positive, such high energy !
