On 21 Oct 2009, during his visit to Jogja for seminars with FIF and Bridgestone, James Gwee took time in the evening to have a talkshow at Radio Sonora.
The topic was about his newest book “Setiap Manager Harus Baca Buku Ini”. Togother with talkshow host from Radio Sonora - Gerry and Also William from Gramedia Pustaka Untama in Jogja, they discussed the contents of the book and answered tha many sms that came in.
Very soon the 2 hours were up. The talkshow was fast, informative and beneficial… Thank you Gerry, thank you Radio Sonora Jogja, thank you especially to all who sent your sms and who telephoned. See you all again soon in Jogja !

James Gwee Inspires 600 Business Owners in Solo

The seminar was organised by Persatuan Masyarakat Surwakarta (PMS). The location was Diamond Convention Centre in Solo. The time was 1830.
More than 600 business owners and sales people came to attend James Gwee’s 4th large-scale seminar organised by PMS. The topic - “How To Become A Superstar Sales Person”. The seminar was scheduled for 2 hours, but went into extra time for nearly 3 hours.
The event was also special because James launched his latest book “Setiap Manager Harus Baca Buku Ini”. Nearly 200 books were sold before the event had even ended ! Wow !
It was made even more special because James also launched the first e-learning website “www.SeminarSeumurHidup.com” during the same event. More than 40 people immediately enrolled to become lifetime members. The registration fee was an incredible Rp370.000 and they immediately received James Gwee’s Exclusive DVD and one set of audio CD worth a total value of Rp900.000.
After the event ended… There were so many people requesting James for autographs on his new book and taking photographs together.

James Gwee “Entertains” Principals and Teachers of Kinderland and Sekolah Ichthus

James Gwee “entertained” more than 70 principals & teachers of Kinderland and Sekolah Ichthus at their Sekolah Ichthus Pondok Indah premises.
Before the 2 hours presentation and sharing session, Ibu Cisca, the marketing head of the school brought James on a tour around the school premises. James’ immediate impression of the school ? Very cosy, very homely feeling and very warm environment. You immediately get the feeling that the teachers here truly love what they do, are thoroughly enjoy themselves, and sincerely love the children under their care… It feels like study at home with lots of classmates under the supervision of aunts… Even the support staff look so happy… Wow !
The owners of the wonderful home of learning Ibu Suparno and her husband Dr Suparno very graciously hosted James and the teachers to hold a simple and cosy celebration of their son, Justine’s birthday. The food? Home backed birthday cake and home-made hamburgers… Cooked with mummy’s (Ibu Suparno’s) own hands… Cool !
At 2pm, James’ presentation started with one of his favourite topics “Selling With Empathy”. His session got the teachers laughing and learning… Which was not difficult because this was a group of pretty fun-loving teachers… Everyone (including James!) had a lot of fun. 2 hours seemed to fly by and all too soon, it was time to wrap up the session… But not before several foto-taking sessions with new found friends (or fans?).
Thank you all principals and teachers of Kinderland and Sekolah Ichthus for making it such a memorable session. May our good Lord’s blessing continue to shower onto each and everyone of you… May you develop future generations of God-loving and God-fearing leader and may all that you do each and everyday glorify His name !

James Gwee Speaks At American Pillo Partners Gathering in Singapore on 17 October 2009 at Swissotel Hotel, which was once the tallest hotel in the world !
The event started very punctually and the 300 partners and their spouse (some even came with children) were entertained by 3 hours of non-stop entertainment of music, songs, drum performance. American Pillo’s Partner Gathering was hosted by 2 of Indonesia’s top MCs Nico Siahan and Olga Lydia. After the delicious 10 course dinner, James Gwee was invited on stage to deliver a one-hour presentation entitled “Proven Techniques To Succeed In Difficult Conditions”.
After that, the guests were entertained by a very dynamic and impressively well-co-ordinated drum performance. Everyone in the audience watched in amazement at the fantastic co-ordination of drumming, lighting effect and water (yes, water !). At the end of the performance, the audience applauded in appreciation…
After the audience had caught their breath from the breath-taking drum performance, it was time for American Pillo’s internal event.
Three hours of fun, food, learning and relaxation. Congratulation American Pillo for a wonderful night in appreciation of your business partners ! Success always !

James Gwee Trains UOB for 1 day seminar entitled “Success Secrets of Champion Sales People”
Attended by more that 50 sales people and sales leaders, James shared the “secrets” of what makes some sales people so incredibly effective and successful, enabling them to consistently out-perform everyone else.
The one day seminar was conducted at Hotel Novotel Mangga Dua and started from 9am and ended at 5pm, 1 full hour BEYOND the schedule time.
The seminar was opened punctually at 9am by Pak Iwan S, the President Director. Participants came from all over Indonesia including Medan, Surabaya and Bintan.
The feedback was positive, and participants came away more energized, more knowledgable and definitely more inspired to implement the simple, practicable yet incredibly powerful ideas that they learnt in the one day event.

James Gwee Trains 120 Staff of Park Hotel

James Gwee conducted training for 120 staff of the soon to be opened Park Hotel. Park Hotel is located in Cawang area in East Jakarta, and the half day training was held at PP University at Cisarua…
All 120 managers, supervisors, employees of the hotel were present for the 4 days training. Before my session, the atmposhere was already very positie and cheerful. I was very impressed bythe comprehensiveness of the training and the active participation by everyone who attended. The role playing were very realistic and participants learnt so much. The GM Ibu Linda Gustina had arranged for a fantastic training. Congrats !
My session was entitled “Communication and Motivation to Build A Winning Team”. The purpose of the session was to boost participants to be ready for the launching of Park Hotel soon.
To my new friends of Park Hotel, GOOD LUCK and SUCCESS !
