James Gwee at RS Santo Barromeus, Bandung…. Scheduled for 2 hours… But we enjoyed it so much we added another 1 hour !
“Delivering WORLD CLASS Service -
Pro-active Service With A Smile” - attended by more than 200 heads of departments, nurses, susters. The directors were there to lend their full support and positive endorsement. Even the people from Security Department attended ! Fantastic !
The message was “The Rules Have Changed”. Other important messages that seemed to relevant were “Customer’s Needs Keep Changing”, “Who Do You Define as Customers ?”, “Focus Your Marketing Communication on Your Right Target Market”…. And especially “Customer Service means EXCEED Your Customer’s Expectations”. The piont that everyone seemed to relate to was “Customer Service is Not Only Smiles. Customer Service is SYSTEM”.
Then we watched a video on “How to Create a Place Where People Where People Love To Work Happily”. Only 20minutes of video, but everyone was excited.
3 hours just flew past… Time too stop… Too soon… Still so much more to cover… But hope to cotinue next time soon….

James Gwee Conducts YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS Workshop for Teenagers with Grab Your Audience Team on 12 & 13 September 2009.
The whole team had been eagerly anticipating this event. This was the first intake and more than 50 teenagers had enrolled for the 2 days workshop.
The objective of the workshop was simple : To teach the teenagers to be more responsible towards money. For example, whenever they get their pocket money from their parents, instead of only thinking “What can I buy with this money?” (In other words, “How can I FINISH this money as soon as I can?”), teenagers who attend Young Entrepreneurs will now think “There are at least 3 things that I can do with this money - spend it, save it, or grow it”. They now become more aware that every simole decison that they make about their money has short term and long term impact. With this awareness that they have a choice, they become more responsible with their money.
Yes, their pocket money may be just a small amount, but it this the principle and the habits that we want them to form from young… So that it become natural when they are given responsible with more money.
The teenagers, ranging from 10 to 18 years old also learnt the difference between Assets and Liabilities.
The 2 days workshop was extremely fulfilling for all of us who were part of it - as trainers, as well as members of the logistic team.
What really plesantly surprised us was the level of intelligence, maturity of the children, and their incredibilty to understand, absorb and APPLY what we thought were “adult” concepts about money. They knew how to apply the different strategies of MAGNIFY or MULTIPLY to increase their income. They knew exactly when to use which. Incredible ! It was such a joy to teach them !
The 2 days were filled with activities, games, discussions - all geared to help them understand and remember ideas and concepts about money.
They even learnt how to design a simple business plan. We’ll be looking forward to watching them present their business plans in March 2010 in front of a panel. Imagine 10-18 year olds presenting their business plan to a panel of real life entrepreneurs ! Cool !

James Gwee’s Seminar at Citibank

James Gwee was invited back to conduct another seminar for the customer relationship managers and sales people of Citibank at Menara Jamsostek on this very special once-in-a-lifetime date 9-9-09.
James Gwee’s topic this time was “Success Secrets of Star Sales People”. The session was light-hearted, easy to digest and provided the participants wtih many practical tips of why some sales people become extremely successful, and why other sales people fail again and again no matter which company the move to, and no matter what product they sell ?
The participants learnt the answer… A simple answer, yet very powerful. Some of them will be able to do it easily because they alreay possess the pre-requisites, others will achieve it with a little extra effort. Others will acheive it if they put in more effort. Some people will find it very difficult…
From the energy level and the level of enthusisam of the participants, I dare say at at least half of them will do every well and excel as sales people.

James Gwee’s Seminar at GKY GreenVil on 12 September 2009 morning.
It was a beautiful morning… Panitia had arrived early… Many were already there since early morning cos there was Doa Pagi. In fact GKY Grenvil has Doa Pagi every morning ! Wonderful.
The seminar started at 9am sharp with some songs of praise and worship, followed by opening prayer. Then the seminar began with the topic “WINNING ATTITUDE”. Simple title, but extremely wide scope. So such to cover when the topic is “Attitude”… But so little time… Only 2 hours…
Unfortunately, the session was interrupted by the very bad cough that I was experience that day… By the grace of God, I was able to get thru the session..
That was my fourth time I was given the honour and pleasure to serve at GKY Grenvil. Everytime is a happy experience. Thank you Ibu Linda Massie, Ketua Panitia for giving me the opportunity to serve.

James Gwee trains Mandala Airlines - 50 branch managers of Mandala offices from all around Indonesia gathered in Jakarta for 2 days training.
Day One will handled by James and Day Two will be handled by Pak FX Hadi Cokrosusilo. In spite of the fact that this was the fasting month, all participants were wide awake, participating actively and learning intensely. Minds were opens, ideas were absorbed and energy levels rose. It was a good full day training and we all look forward to Day Two with Pak Hadi.
From the level of enthusiasm, we once again see the importance of continuous training. With continuous training, people get new ideas. With new ideas come fresh hope to move ahead… Congratulations Mandala Airlines for taking the effort and initiative to once again re-boost and re-energize some of your most important people - your commanders in the battle field !

James Gwee inspires 350entrepreneurs and sales people at Golden Leaf Restaurant at Kelapa Gading.
The dinner cum seminar was organised by Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International (FGBFI) abd the response was FANTASTIC ! Panitia even had to stop registration cos the room capacity could not. accomodate more than 350 people.
The session opened with praise and worship, welcoming and opening words by ketua pengurus. Then James took over. He explained, participants participated very actively and wholeheartedly… For 2 hours it was 150% full attention by everyone.
After the session so many people bought his CDs and most interestingly, so many immediately registered to become members of www.seminarseumurhidup.com.
It was a good evening, everyone went home happy and one questions was being asked again and again “Kapan Pak James seminar di Full Gospel lagi ?“. We’ll let’s wait…

For the 4th time, James Gwee speaks at PROFEC.
For the 4th time, it was full house - almost 300 people attend !
For the 4th time, it was well-received.
It did not feel like a seminar, it just felt like speaking with old friends who had agthered together… It was like a reunion of old friends…
Thank you Ibu Lies for your many years of support and friendship. Thank you Ibu Lies for making me part of the PROFEC family. May God bless you with good health and may your fire of passion to serve burn forever strong.
