A whole day of Appreciation, Motivation, Music and Celebrations for the sales people of Arista Yamaha ! The event was held at The Venue (Eldorado) Bandung. 

My motivation session, which  was from 1-4pm, was attended by more than 600 participants.  The sales people learnt simple but very powerful techniques to improve their sales performance.  Sales Supervisors also lkearnt powerful techniques to improve the performance of their whole sales team. 

The theme of today’s event was .Crisis - No, Opportunities - Yes !” 

After the 3 hours session, the whole sales team now know exactly what theyu can do and what they must do to stay ahead. They are now highly motivated to seize the many opportunities in front of them

James Gwee Power Seminar Series was held yesterday 26/2/09 at Hotel Novotel Mangga Dua with “Valentine and Love” as the theme. When the door of the ballroom opened and the participants ran into the ballroom, they were SO SURPRISED because the decoration was like a wedding dinner reception ! The whole backdrop was sweet pink cloth, there were hearts, flowers and red and pink balloons everywhere. More than 200 participants attend 2009’s first there was a giant screen reasuring 4×20m in front. James Gwee Power Seminar Series for February was entitled “How To Deliver An Effective and Powerful One-To-One Sales Presentation”. The background music was carefully chosen to reflect the romantic atmosphere of Valentine and Love. 

The atmosphere was so positive, there were active discussions, and the participants were learning a lot through out the seminar. During the lunch & coffee breaks, so many people signed up to become members of www.SeminarSeumurHidup.com so that they can learn on-line. Others enrolled to attend the 2-days workshop to improve their public speaking & presentation skills in “Grab Your Audience”. Yet others enrolled their teenage children, nephews and nieces to join “Grab Your Audience For Teens”. Many especially IMMEDIATELY registered for our seminar in March entitled Win-Win Negotiation for Sales, Purchasing and Other Situations”. Next month’s seminar will be EVEN MORE FANTASTIC because the theme will be SAMURAI JAPAN !

The seminar went into overtime and ended at 6pm instead of 5pm. We all closed by standing up to sing a rousing “Let Your Love Flow”.  Everyone was happy, cheerful and charged up to do more effective One-To-One Sales Presentation.

It’s such a wonderful day today ! Siaran at Radio SmartFM this morning was “One-To-One Sales Presentation”. A simple topic, but we received SO MANY phonecalls & sms. 

Yes the sales person’s ability to deliver an effective sales presentation 1-to-1 (face to face) with the prospective customer is one of the MOST CRUCIAL SKILLS that he must have in order to succeed. The good thing is that many of the aspects are just common sense and others are skills that need to be learnt. The sad thing is that SO MANY SALES PEOPLE don’t prepare themselves thoroughly and sont learn the right skills. If they just apply some of these skills, their sales performance could EASILY INCREASE By 200% !

That’s why the saying “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail” is so very true. 

There are SO MANY SIMPLE THINGS that can be done to significantly improve your One-to-one sales presentation. 750 people attend my seminar “Creative Selling In Crisis” at Hotel Aston Denpasar on Saturday 14 Feb 2009. The audience was very enthusiastic, energetic and so eager to learn. The Event Organiser Narayana Productions had done an EXCELLENT JOB in organising the event. This seminar was especially meaningful for all of us, including the participants because part of the revenue from the seminar will be donated to Lion’s Club Bali. At the end of the seminar, we presented a cheque of Rp 20jt to Lion Club. This money will be used to purchase hearing aids for children with listening disabilities. This was made even more meaningful because this act of charity was done on Valentine’s Day

450 Alfamart-Mania in Puncak !

alfaWhat a day 10 Feb 2009 turned out to be ! We left Jkt in the morning rain and headed towards Puncak to conduct a one-day seminar to 450 Co-ordinator Wilaya & Manajer Wilaya of Alfamart. Alfamart had indeed experienced tremendous growth in the last few years… And I was about to understand why within the next few hours. 

We arrived at Via Renata Puncak at 8.15am. The ballroom was already seated witg 450 participants. They were singing and doing their yel-yel with so much enthusiasm. They were laughing and enjoying themselves. You could feel the positive energy in the room. 

My session started at 9am sharp. Throighout the 6 hours, they were actively listening, taking down notes, participating in discussions whole-heartedly. After lunch, as you can imagine, the room started to get warm - no air-con in Puncak, 450 excited people all packed into one room. However, all these did not reduce their enthusiasm, concentration & focus. We went into “extra time” and stretched for almost one more hour. No one was complaining. The session ended at 5pm. They were still singing the Alfamania song with gusto ! No wonder Alfamart was moving forward so quickly - they have tremendously powerful people - their training department is doing a FANTASTIC job !

What a day ! Truly memorable ! CONGRATULATIONS Alfamart & THANK YOU for your wonderful enthusiasm & energy. I wish you continued success always !
