Anniversary of AMA Malang (and 19th Anniversary of AMA Indonesia)

Good morning & regrads from Surabaya! Last night I was in Malang to celebrate the 16th Anniversary of AMA Malang (and 19th Anniversary of AMA Indonesia) I was also invited to speak as the guest speaker at AMA’s monthly seminar. It was the 4th time I had been invited to speak at AMA Malang. I truly respect & appreciate the professionalism & commitment of the pengurus of AMA Malang, very abily lead by their very commited, professional & gracious chairwoman Ibu Listya. Incredible-imagine serving members & community consistently for 16 years! It’s always a joy for me to speak at AMA Malang because the host & pengurus are always so pleasant & gracious. Once again, happy birthday AMA Indonesia & AMA Malang! May u enjoy many more happy & successful years ahead & especially thank you Ibu Listya & wonderful team!

Wonderful Workshop In Solo

Men’s Rules (That Women Should Know)

Finally, the guys’ side of the story.

Ladies, now here are the rules from the male side.

These are our rules!

We are NOT mind readers and we never will be.
Our lack of mind-reading ability is not proof of how little we care about you.

Ask for what you want. Subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work!
Obvious hints do not work! Just say it!

If we ask what is wrong and you say “nothing,” we will act like nothing’s
wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.

If you ask a question you don’t want an answer to, expect an answer you
don’t want to hear.

‘Yes’ and ‘No’ are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.

Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That’s what we
do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.

Sometimes we are not thinking about you. Live with it.

We don’t remember dates. . . .Period!!

Birthdays, Valentines, and Anniversaries are not considered by us to be
opportunities to see if we can find the perfect present . . . . again!

You have enough clothes.

You have too many shoes.

Most guys have only three pairs of shoes - max. What makes you think we’d be any
good at choosing which pair, out of thirty, would look good with your dress?

ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings. To us, peach, for
example, is a fruit, not a color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea
what mauve is.

Don’t cut your hair. Ever. Long hair is always more attractive than short
hair. One of the big reasons guys fear getting married is that married women
always cut their hair, and by then you’re stuck with her.

If you think you’re fat, you probably are. Don’t ask us. We’ve been tricked
before!!

Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all
comments become null and void after 7 days.

If something we said can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes
you sad or angry, we meant the other one.

Let us ogle. We are going to look anyway; it’s genetic.

Christopher Columbus did not need directions, and neither do we.
Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials.

The relationship is never going to be like it was the first two months we
were going out. Get over it. And quit whining to your girlfriends.

Thank you for reading this; Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the sofa
tonight, but did you know we don’t mind. It’s like camping.

8 incredible days in Bali

Dear All,

Academia office just re-opened today! Yes we had a long break & we’re back refreshed ! I myself had a great holiday – 8 incredible days in Bali !. 3 days in Candi Desa. I was quiet and beautiful. My kids loved it.. they had the whole swimming pool to themselves.. and the whole beach to themselves ! Beautiful ! Then we moved to Hotel Conrad and spent some days there, again swimming and cycling. We rented bicycles and we cycled for miles.. fantastic. Then we moved again, this time to Hotel Ritz Carlton. It was truly breath-taking ! We stayed there with our very good friend. They rented a villa there.. we had our private swimming pool just in front of the villa, it overlooked the cliff and we could see the sunset from just in front of our villa. Amazing..

We all came back dark and tanned, but totally refreshed and recharged. OK back to work now.. Lots to do.. so much more exciting things to develop.. and we’re really preparing for an even more exciting and fantastic 2009.
